Born and raised in Virginia, Jon returned in August 2020 to be the second Senior Pastor of GCC. With degrees from the University of Virginia and Reformed Theological Seminary, Jon and his wife, Rachel, spent the previous 20 years serving churches in Mississippi and Texas. They have seven children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and one cat. In his free time, Jon enjoys a wide variety of sports, being an unpaid Uber driver for his family, and reading and watching mysteries (especially BBC series).
