Heavenly Father, you have graciously provided us with Christ, our faithful guide, who accompanies us in moments of calm, and through the darkest valleys. You have committed to showering us with your kindness and mercy throughout our lives. Yet, we confess that we frequently doubt your compassion and dedication. Instead of relying on you to meet our needs through Christ, we often sinfully seek other avenues. We humbly ask for your forgiveness, and pray that you teach us to always find comfort in Jesus, our caring and loving Shepherd, no matter the circumstances. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
