Heavenly Father, you are the all-wise King who created and sustains all things by your wisdom. Your holiness and power are made evident in your providential care for everything you have made, including us. Yet, we acknowledge that we’ve not always shown the gratitude and reverence that befits your majesty. At times, our focus has been sinfully swayed by worldly pursuits, like power, wealth, and status. Forgive us, we pray. We thank you for the unwavering faith of Jesus, who always put you first above all else. Guide us daily towards a deeper appreciation and understanding of your ways, until that day when we find eternal peace in your presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
