Blessed you are, God and Father

            of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Blessed you are,

            for you have blessed us

                        with every spiritual blessing!

            Before the foundation of the world,

                        you chose us to be your people.

            You destined us in love

                        to be your sons and daughters.

                        Thanks to you we have a destiny,

                                    an eternal destiny.

            You have given us a Redeemer,

                        Christ Jesus our Lord.

            You have provided for the remission

                                    of our sins

                        and the forgiveness of our

                                    trespasses.

                        Thanks to you we are free!

            Freely, therefore,

                        we give ourselves to you,

                                    to serve the praise of your glory.

Blessed Father, eternal God,

                        to you be all glory!

            Through Jesus Christ, the very incarnation 

                        of your blessing. Amen.
